How are you celebrating Mothers day whether you are a mom or the child of a mom.

Since my mom had to work today, I wrote her a letter telling her how much she means to me and listing a bunch of good memories I have about her. She left me a letter in response which was very positive. :)

There is a Part II to my Mother's Day gift - when she comes home from work, I am going to give her a bracelet I bought for her. I know she will love it!

I've phoned my mum and wished her a Happy Mother's Day. It crept up on me so quickly. I was unaware that it was this weekend, until an autistic woman at my clubhouse was having one of her dark minded tantrums about not being able to visit her mum on Mother's Day. If I would have known it was this weekend, I would have made plans to see her ahead of time. I went to the church in the mall that I live right behind and sat in the lounge for an hour after the service ended and talked to some other church goers. The three hours away from WP nearly killed me, but I had to turn off that Kinks CD and get out. I didn't want to be alone on Mother's Day.

My husband took me out yesterday while the kids were at a friend's house. Today, we're ordering pizza for dinner and just relaxing.

I think they have Mother's day on a different date in the US.

I think their time makes more astrological sense (Taurus/Venus)
