What would you do if you had $1,000,000 and only 2 weeks to spend it?

Pay-off my house and student loans, buy a 42 ' yacht and give the balance to the local homeless shelter. 8)

Buy a house, renovate it, get into house-flipping. Make a few smart investments. Get a few things I want (nothing expensive actually)... donate a bit of money here and there to good causes. But overall I wouldn't spend too much, I would work at turning that million into more money through the first two things I said. Then I would consider being more frivolous, though I doubt I actually would. I live a spartan life and I like it this way. Having money would just give me much more security

I'd buy neighboring houses on the coasts of either California or Oregon, with access to the beach right out of the back door. My parents would live in one and I would live in the other. I'd make sure my parents had enough money to retire, I would decorate my house and buy things related to my special interests, and I would donate a portion to charity.

Buy a million dollars worth of lottery tickets.

I think I would give some away to my friends. I would also donate some to charity. Provided it is against the rules to invest it, I would travel and buy the best telescope that I could get.

Use part of it to buy a small house on some remote forested property in the Pacific Northwest, and then invest the rest of it so I could live off the interest for the rest of my life.

Happy :)

I'd buy this house:
http://www.zackdevito.com/markets/1-liv ... -high-rise

And if that's more then a million dollars... then I'd spend it on the following:

* I'd buy $550,000 tiny home in Sausalito, Ca or somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area with views of the SF Skyline
* I'd buy $160,000 worth of cars (Ford Cmax, VW Tourag TDI, pre-owned BMW 7 Series Hybrid)
* I'd buy $75,000 worth of flyer miles to fly anywhere with
* I'd buy $50,000 worth of stocks or investments and build my portfolio
* I'd buy $50,000 worth of Whole Foods Gift Cards to shop with
* I'd buy $40,000 on misc., golfing equipment, furniture, tv, apple products, technology, etc.
* I'd buy $25,000 worth of clothes
* I'd give away $50,000 to Asperger Syndrome Training & Employment Partnership to help those with Aspergers get competitive employment.

I hope my math is right

Buy a tablet, probably go somewhere like Paris with my family, give a lot to my mom (Does that count?), buy a Nepeta Leijon shirt, then I'd be left with a ton of money and nothing to do with it and I won't want to waste it so I'd probably donate it. Or save it if I can.

I'd buy myself an insulated house in the country and a vintage Ludwig drum set.

1) Repay all debt, including my wife's;
2) Have some much-needed renovation work done here at/in/on this house;
3) Ask Alex whether he might want to have his own server mini-farm;
4) Find and rebuild an old Harley http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1948-harl ... son-fl.htm ;
5) Divide the remainder amongst my six grandchildren.
