Today at work, I got bitten by a spiny mouse! What's the weirdest creature that has ever bitten/scratched/mauled by?

Here are some spiny mice:

Probably the Military Macaw... I went to pick him up to put him (I think he was a male) back on his perch and he climbed up happily enough and then took a big chunk out of my hand. That bird always did have problems with females... Eh.

Not sure if it counts as an animal as it's technically an insect, but I once got bitten by a grasshopper when I was a toddler. I'm told that that's unusual, because apparently they're supposed to spit tar rather than bite. But that one bit me so hard, it drew blood.

I got bitten by a spider 2 years ago when getting out the shower. I didn't notice but the spider was on the towel and when I pressed the towel against me I felt a sharpness on my neck and something small and hard on the towel, I looked and it was indeed a spider. So I threw the towel off me and the spider ended up in the shower where it slowly drowned in a puddle.
I had 2 little dots on my neck where the fangs went and it tingled for a while.

I did not turn into spiderman unfortunately.

As a child, once I was bitten by a very small spider - I had its miniature sting in my skin for some time afterwards, until I pulled it out. I had no idea grasshoppers can bite. In my country we call grasshoppers literally "field little horses". Once I wanted to catch one into a glass jar to see closer what it looks like and it looked so disgusting :x I don't care them when they just jump from one grass blade on another one but I hated it when I finally got one and could take a closer look, eewww. I gave it to Żaba, our ratter to eat, and it was even more disgusting.

I had a spider bite too from a common house spider! No one believed me even though there is STILL a mark on my finger where it drew blood! My dad immediately made the spiderman joke!

When I was a little boy I was more than once bitten by chameleons I was attempting to "coax" into dropping their tails. Sadly, we no longer have chameleons in this area. If it's my fault, I wish to state here that I'm past that phase, and they are free to return.

A cat. I know it's not weird, but it's the only animal I've ever been bitten by.
They are still my favorite though.

No weird animals, the weirdest was a chipmunk (not common here in the UK) - only because we used to breed them and apparently my fingers looks like a peanut :)

I got bit by a crow at Edinburgh castle while in England visiting relatives.

But it wasn't just any crow, it was a talking crow, I was trying to film it say something on my cousins phone and it started biting me, all I got was a video of me looking at a crow for a few seconds then it jumped at me and started biting while I was yelling to get it off me.

That's interesting because at 4 I picked one up and I remember it bit on my forefinger, and I recall a sliding of the jaws feel....but no blood. Later on I dismissed it as my imagination.

I've been bitten by house spiders, a gerbil, a hamster, a snake, and a dog. I'd say the hamster bite was the worse one, if you were to count by the teeth.. The gerbil would chew cardboard and this filed the teeth down.

Insects are definitely animals.
And yes! Grasshoppers do bite! In fact, I was recently bitten by a Giant South American Cone-headed Katydid (close relative of grasshoppers). T_T It was quite unfortunate. I know they're carnivorous and all, but still, who thought something the size of my thumb could pack such a punch!?
