Commander Laoch is a career soldier, former leader of an elite Special Ops group, and an all-around "Go-To Guy" when a task needs to be accomplished. Commander Laoch welcomes visitors in a stiff and formal way, but warms up to any who seek justice and who offer enough credits for him to take become involved. Currently, Laoch is retired, and spends most of his days at his fishing camp on Lablon (2701 Spinward Marches B646589-A Ag Ni G503 Im M2-III M4-D), an agricultural world at the very edge of the subsector; its economy is supported mostly by the sale of agricultural produce to the Vargr through the local trading station. Most of the population of 500,000 lives in small farming towns scattered about the most fertile areas of the four continents. The government is called the Lablon Planetary Cartel; its main duty is insuring that no community exports goods for other than the legally set prices; since the prices are high, there is little resistance.
