Tel Aviv rarely goes below 5 Celsius....even in the dead of winter.

In NYC, it’s in the mid 20s Celsius. Thunderstorms a few hours ago.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

At 925 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms moving east at 25 mph.

Pea size hail, winds in excess of 30 mph, and heavy rain will accompany these storms.

Get indoors when these storms approach. Winds may be strong enough to produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.
