My cat Goku is fat. She's about 4,2 Kg and she is a cobby, half-short haired, 10 years old, cancer survivor and spayed black cat. She eats like a normal cat (doesn't eats excessively). We are triyng, from years to put her on diet, but all diets fail. She may lose 100 g, nothing more.
I want make her lose weight because for now she's healthy but at her age she risks diabetes and kidney failure, and i want to prevent those problems in my cat.

Have you suggestions (less food and light food don't work)

I was told, as a general rule by my vet, when they get 10 years old you need to transition them to wet food. And feed them small cans in a controlled manner. Wet food has less fillers (corn, rice, AKA carbs/'sugar'; that will be handled by pancreas) that further diabetes and stress the pancreas. Also, avoid 'by-product' on the ingredient list.

For a serious diet, usually there's low calorie dry-food, but I imagine that would be very unhealthy for a 10-year old cat.

There are cat 'daily vitamins' that include Taurin; that you can see if your cat will eat. (I see these in my super-market from some Vermont company). If you gave the cat thpose pills you can get away with feeding hte cat human-food. Like a diet of grilled chicken-breast. (this is not expensive). Advantages: there is less salt; so no concentrated urine going through kidneys. There is no fillers, so less sugar from unneeded carbohydrates. CONS: Cat may not eat vitamin pill. Also, you need to cook the chicken breast (I suggest a table-top electric grill; does this quickly and you can walk away from it safely).

It's actually healthier to feed the chicken breast raw if it will eat it.

here's something I found:

Science Diet has a range of cat foods for different ages and stages that cats go through. They make a Senior Diet blend of their cat food.

That is good to maintain a senior cat's weight. It will have more nutrition to make up for an older animals diminished self.

Therefore, fat cat will get fatter. D:

Get those daily pills (taurine is what you are looking for; though it is found in raw meat too) and feed it raw chicken would be best.

Well if you want best maybe start getting some mice to feed it. It is a well-balanced diet for a cat. You wouldn't even need the daily pill; a mouse a day keeps the vet away! ....but I imagine that wouldn't be the best of sites to watch.
