My sympathy over your favorite cat. I know how that feels. My mother feared and disliked cats until a special one walked into her life. Now he is like a baby to her.
Thanks.
It was not a good day, for several reasons, but my daughter, who was 4 at the time saw him get hit by a car. He died in my arms. She still talks about him every day, almost a year later. He was a special friend who had been around for some rough times and he helped to keep me sane. I had him for 14 years and he was at least 4 when I got him at a shelter.
He was a big old grumpy baby, at times (19 lbs of spoiled rotten majesty) but he was my best friend for years. Remembering Rocky, the boxing cat, will always make me smile.
