Which ones can't you stand?

For me it's avocado and squid. The texture of either of them makes me want to throw up.

Coconut flakes. >_< They get stuck in my throat and then I have to cough them out. I have no problem with coconut milk, though.

When I was a kid my mom tried to get me to eat Brussel Sprouts. That was a big mistake.

Avocados taste good, you just have to be able to recognize when they're ripe and neither under-ripe nor over-ripe.

I can't stand mustard greens, at least the canned variety.

Finding fish bones in my mouth from supposedly filleted fish, finding any bits of chicken bone or gristle in pies etc. I feel queasy just mentioning it. It's almost enough to make me go vegetarian.

What Tallyman said + tripe.

I had some in my Pho at a Vietnamese restaurant once and required psychotherapy thereafter...

Sorry, but what follows is more than slightly disgusting. If you are eating, or about to, go no further.....

When I first left home, I had no money at all. I lived on benefits/welfare, which meant I could only afford cheap food. Really cheap food. Including meat pies with negligible meat content. I bought a steak pie (Lidl or Netto, I think) which was anything but steak. I hit a lump of fat/gristle so huge that it stuck at the back of my throat. I thought I was going to choke. My response was to throw up. I have no idea why I didn't just open my mouth, but I didn't. Sick came up through my nose before I got sense enough to open my mouth and not care about the consequences. It went everywhere and the stinging 'taste' at the back of my throat and back of my nose was utterly disgusting. That's a memory which lingers. I have not bothered with shop-bought meat pies since.

Applesauce, especially when it has bits of apple core in it, although I love the taste.

Liver and tripe.

red meat
fish
seafood (especially shrimp)
ripe bananas (must be partially green for me to eat)
ripe peaches (must be somewhat unripe)
actually, any fruit that seems slightly mushy

Pretty short list now that I'm an adult. As a toddler, I would only eat bread and butter sandwiches, crackers, raisins, yogurt, and bananas. My mom used to cry at night because I wouldn't eat and she thought I was going to die. Of course, there are a lot of foods that I haven't even tried due to the appearance of having an unpleasant texture.
