So, I've been going to conventions for about a year. My first one was a pseudo-con within a comic shop. Almost like a party, but larger and with Stormtroopers from the 501st, it being a Star Wars thing. Then, in July, I went to my local con, Ancient City Con. I went without any friends and I was a bit bored, but I had fun. It was little, but it was a con. Celebration 5 in August was the largest Star Wars con in history and the first Celebration to be near me. I went for one day, and even if I was wihout any companions, I made new friends and had a blast. The best day of my life, you could say. And then 2 months ago, I went to Animu Day Jacksonville, even though I'm not too much of an anime fan. I was very out of place in my professional grade Jedi Tunic with lightsaber. But I had my friend with me, and even though I trolled him and some people he brought along the entire time, I had fun. Now, I am heading to Ancient City Con again on the 9th and 10th. I'll have around 10 friends that I've made over the past year with me. I'm going in the costume visible in my icon, my internet persona(and secretly my fursona. I've been afraid to tell my friends that I'm sort of a furry.), Dr. Clark Forrester(last name is a reference to MST3K) I'm hoping it'll be fun. I'll also change out into my Jedi tunic both days half-way through our stay. I'm hoping it'll be fun. I'll take pics and video and will upload them when I get the chance.
Does anyone else have con experience?
