I hate how new posts are put on the very end of the thread, like some threads on here that are yrs old still get replies on them, but you have to go through 10 pages of last yrs posts in order to see them, it makes it kinda confusing and difficult to see what people post recently.

I doubt it's possible to code this website to change the order of posts, but having it so that scrolling down is in an ascending in age rather than a descending in age order it would make the original post be the last post. If the original post could be fixed at the top of each thread, as it is on some other forums, it would be just fine.

I believe it is the norm for all of the internet. I once got reprimanded by some uptight person for "top posting" on a usenet group.

Well, I don't mind resurrection of old threads if that's what you mean. Especially as a newish member it helps me get to know people a bit better. But I agree it can be a bit confusing when it comes out of nowhere. Go to the last post then work backwards, it works ok for me.

I don't care for posts being shown in reverse order (most recent -> oldest). Then you have to read the thread backwards just to read comments in order.

Just go to people's profiles to find threads and replies. Or, the 4th box down (when you are typing a reply) says that you can get a notification when there is a reply. Click it whenever you want to see, and it will go straight to your email.

If I'm not mistaken at least 95% of forums on the internet work like this. It gets kinda confusing when it's not in chronological order.
