I would like to become a vet, because I adore animals and I don't want any other job (except author and translator, but I don't think I can get enough money from those).

But I am so asocial, and I guess a vet can't be like this. So how should the perfect vet be,
so that I can work with myself until I am the perfect vet?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I think if being a vet is what you want to do, so long as you qualify and are really committed you shouldn't have a problem. Sure, we're/Aspies are asocial, but not when it comes to our special interests. If being a vet is related to your special interest, I can't see so much of a problem.

For example, when it was break at high school (I graduated a few months back), I absolutely sucked at social interaction. However, when I'm at my camera club every Monday I'm great - you can't tell I'm any different from the next person.

Kittie is right. No dot worry that much. It being a vet is what you reLly want yo do, you will be great at it. It is also right that when its something you like you wont have that much social problems. My husband is not the king of the party and hates small talk, but when he is talking about technology he has 0 social problems. You have problems making him stop talking...
