We've all been fascinated, interested in, or introduced to life at sea. If you found yourself at sea, what type of ship would you be sailing on?

I voted pirate ship. I'd be a lousy pirate, but I could not worry about bathing or shaving for a while.

I see myself of a merchant ship. I love to work. :)

Same here.
I'm not much for plundering and pillaging, but I would thrive on the abject isolation, exotic locales, survivalist mentality, and I do seem to have a talent for being pretty scurvy most of the time.

Can't I just be on a small boat with a couple of close friends and/or family?

Sail the seven seas... and you're stuck with whoever else is there with you. Unless, of course, you're into throwing people overboard for annoying you.

The idea of relaxing on a cruise ship, waiting to arrive at yet another tropical idyll has a certain appeal. However, I like saying "Arrrrrrrrr" way too much for my own good, so it had to be pirate ship.

A Cruise ship would involve lots of socializing, a Pirate ship would have few rules & little order, a Warship would involve lots of fighting so I voted for Merchant ship

Spaceship. But out of the options, a Warship. It has guns, plus it'll likely be cleaner than a gum-rotting pirate ship :)
