Anything related to Harry Potter can go here.

I should've made this earlier, but I just thought of it.
Harry Potter, the last part, is coming out for me tomorrow, and I am going with 3 or 4 friends to see the midnight showing, and I am SO excited!

Also, this came out a few months after I turned 18, so it's kind of the culmination of my childhood. I'm generation HP...anyone else?

Post whatever about HP here!

Oh, Harry Potta?
Tried reading the first one when I was younger; never really got into it.

My kids just got into it in the last year or so, now they're fanatics. They want me to take them on Friday but I keep telling them that we'll never get it unless we stand in line for hours.

I'll take them to a matinee next week...

My brother got into the whole activity of reading because of them; it's weird how series can do that to people. My OT read all of the Twilight books, then she got into reading after not ever liking it at all before. I just started reading, but I find it interesting when people start talking about books or series that got them into it. (I know that isn't what you said, but I digressed a bit there :3)

Oh. :( You should take them. Not to guilt you or anything.

I just remember that when my brother was here, and I was younger....my dad, uncle, brother, and I would go to the midnight showing together and it was so much fun. :D

I enjoyed reading the books a lot, and they're still my favourite books, but the films are a pale imitation.

Going to see the final movie tomorrow night - going to brave the crowd, but I picked a smaller cinema and made sure I picked a seat that was on the very edge, in case I need to escape. Taking my OH with me.

I love escaping into fantasy worlds - twighlight, harry potter, vampires etc. My favorite books are the Obernewtyn series and the Christopher chant books. I can re-read these a million times and never get tired of them.
