Interesting comment from a YouTube video

I rememeber watching a YouTube video concerning Aspie intimacy and sexuality. One comment attracted my attention and this guy said that "True Aspies beleive sex is a waste of time and it doesn't create anything." The uploader responded by saying something like "Well in my case it created two beautiful children blah, blah, blah." I have to agree wholeheartedly with the commentor (whos account now seems to be closed). I too beleive that sex (and other "social pleasures") doesn't really accomplish anything and is not unique. I don't care what anyone says but this planet is way too overpopulated and far too many people lack proper sexual education or are just plain selfish and stupid. I'm not trying to be a jerk and I am not knocking any other Aspies that are in love, plan carefully and have familes of their own. I just think that so many common joys are in fact destructive to the self, others and the planet. I am very proud to be Aspie and have unique interests. I think it is unfair that many of us are teased and ostrasized for our veiws when everyone else is so pleasure-blind they just keep doing the same risky things over and over again generation after generation. It just upsets me to constantly hear things like "Having kids is the best thing ever" when it is all just focused illusion because people are terrified to stand apart from the crowd. I think that is where a lot of this world's problems comes from. Anyone else feel this way?

Idealogically, I believe that there will be enough room because the scriptures said so.
Practically, I believe if that if people weren't greedy and didn't take land illegally and there weren't slaves, and there was less evil in the world....then there would be enough resources to go around.

I agree that it's a waste of time if neither partner is finding pleasure from it. As for population control, you could just use birth control. Just because some people with AS are asexual, should not be used as a blanket generalization.
