So I'm going to have a couple of houseguests for the next week or so and I have no idea how to do it successfully.

Compounding my quandary is the fact that one of them is a WP member and may be reading this right now - potentially quite embarrassing. 8O

How will I get through this without the support I get here on WP? It's my only lifeline...

I wish I could have all conversations in the form of WP threads - even if we were in the same room - it would be so much easier...

What is expected of me?

How will I keep them entertained?

What will happen when they see my empty kitchen?

Will they hate me even though they already know I'm an Aspie?

Will I really look as cool as I think I will cruising around LA with two hot chicks?

/ramble

You are wise beyond your years, my dear.

Still need a handful of Xanax though...

Will you be able to enjoy the situation taking those? I've never tried anything like that myself.

I have no idea - I was joking about "metaphorical" Xanax, I haven't required anxiety medication for years...

I was right in your position just over a week ago. I'm so glad that's over now.

Actually I'm looking forward to it very much - they are two very attractive young women and we are going to Las Vegas, among other things (am I a stud or what? 8))

I just don't want things to go horribly wrong somehow...

Apart from tidying up the house:

- see what they like to drink and or if they prefer filtered water. My parents asked for diet pepsi and coffee for the morning. I picked up just a few groceries and sandwich fixings even though we ate out most of the time.

I also kept an eye on the towels and made sure there were plenty.

Do you have plenty of blankets and pillows or a comfy air mattress.

I'm not flamboyant as my other siblings who are famous for having BBQ's, horse shoe tournaments, a live band, etc. I'm even surprised they visited but then it was a chance to see the grand kids and after all the partying at my other siblings house they welcomed the peace and quiet. They enjoyed taking drives around the area, site seeing and unwinding at night with a movie.

I generally bring things to entertain myself. Access to internet and movies is a plus. I would always be particular about having my tea and if there was a comfortable place to sleep.
