And if so, what age? This is NOT a thread about the VACCINE. I repeat, this is NOT about the vaccine!

I had them at age 8. I caught them from my Grade 3 teacher, who I didn't like. Only me and one other kid got them.

Got them at the same time as my brother about the same age as you. Possibly a bit younger which is why I chose 'had them/can't remember when'.

And I got shingles twice in my 20s. Not since then tho, which is nice.

I had them full on, although I had the vaccine. I had it shortly before I found out about my Aspergers.

I came down with chicken pox when I was 12. it sucked. I had one between my toes that drove me crazy. Couldn't take a step without it being rubbed which caused the itching to intensify. I was soooo glad when I started to recover (no more outbreaks). I had them pretty bad from what I recall. They were all over my body. Luckily my parents left me home by myself for like 12 hours a day (several days), so I could scratch without being yelled at.

No, which is strange as hell, for I was always really very, very susceptible to illnesses as a kid.

No, and I am going to talk about the vaccine anyway. It's futile. How often does chicken pox kill people? Sure, you don't have the illness once you're vaccinated (most of the time), but you are still susceptible to shingles, sometimes more than if you had the illness.
Many have considered da Pox as a rite of passage of sorts, anyways. Like growing pains. In some ways, I wish I had them.

I wholeheartedly agree.
