It hurts. Seriously. :? Why is society so frightened of minor things like body hair and genitals? I mean, they're just boobs. I wanna live in the stone age where everyone could walk around naked with no repercussions... then I wouldn't have to worry about buying tights that get a run the first time I wear them or if I don't take a tweezers to my face every [insert number here] days I look like chewbacca.

Get them waxed.
Much quicker.

I don't care much for my brows. As long as I have no unibrow I'm fine with it.

I'm broke and can't afford salon stuff... the last time I tried to wax at home it ripped off of the strip and stayed stuck to my skin it was horrible.

Me, as well. I just trim it back from my forehead and give it a cleaner line on the outside edge, they're still pretty thick. My natural brow has no curve to it, so yeah.

Try facial depilatory cream as well, but don't use it to sculpt or shape your brows (might end up removing more brows hairs than you want)

I've heard threading is really good too, but it might hurt just as much as the plucking.

If you numb it with ice it helps a lot.
I personally don't mind plucking. You don't have to pluck them, but I think well shaped eyebrows frame a face nicer.

The solution to your problem is obvious. Stop waxing. If someone is truly worthy of your attention, they will love you for you, and not your neatly trimmed eyebrows.

Read the thread. I don't wax. Plus, I'm not doing it for some shallow jerk, I'm doing it because when I look good it gives me confidence, which I need.

This is how I feel about my eyes - they are already big and wide, with thick lashes... but if I put foundation and some type of lipwear on, I feel like it's only correct to put on eyeliner and mascara too.

You can get them removed with laser and then get the eyebrows you wanted permanent painted on you face. It is expensive and I find painted eyebrows creepy, but I know a couple of women who have done that the avoid the constant hasstle.

I used to pluck my eyebrows for a couple of years. Then I stopped. I let my eyebrows alone. I just refused to become a slave (it requires a considerable amount of time and resources to keep your eyebrows looking the way you want) of my looks. I have more free time now, and I accepted my eyebrows the way they are. They dont look that bad after all.

DON'T get tattooed eyebrows.

Agree. :eew:

I believe Nair has some cream specifically made for the face-
seems like that would be significantly less-painful than tweezing.

Don't use the normal kind made for legs and underarms on your face.
Or your genitals.

That's all I'm gonna say 'bout that....

Maybe it's because I'm a guy and I've got an electric razor with a small trimmer, but I just shave the middle of my unibrow. Screw plucking.

Ladies, buy some kind of small electric trimmer.

Hair removing creams leave stubs underneath the skin and also can cause ingrown hair. Its better to pluck, thread or wax them.

I actually had one specifically for that purpose.
