I had the retiree for about 30 years.
I didn't think she was great or anything, but she was lightyears better than this clod.

I ended up ordering new distance glasses.
Only $499 instead of $899 because I didn't get progressives or some of the coatings.

Now I'm realising he said I needed stronger, and the "stronger" letters were good to read.
Then he switched the prescription back to what I already have.

I'm going to have to call and ask them what the hell, why can't I get the stronger ones?

I'm in the mood for a street fight if they happen to come back.
No one messes with my loved ones.

It is annoying when one has someone at least competent in their job dealing with them and then that person is lost, to be replaced by someone... incompetent.

If stronger is better for you, then I don't understand why he switched the prescription back to the existing one?

I don't either.
I remember him showing me the difference of old vs new and I liked new better.
Then later on I asked him how much of a change there was in my prescription strength.
He said he decided to keep them the same.

??

I forgot about that when I ordered the glasses because I liked the new frames lol.

I don't want to pay $500 for the same?

Yeah, that's a lot of money for the same prescription in light of the fact that you fare better with a strong 'script.

The distance ones I have are progressives with readers at the bottom.
The new ones are only distance.
That means they won't be exactly the same as my current ones.
The distance prescription is still the same though, and that's stupid.

The noisy bastards upstairs. He's worse when his kid isn't there, stomping around playing darts and mouthing off at passers by out of his window.

I feel like moving again tbh.
