Car broke down. Ended up having to get it towed to an auto shop. I figured it was a bad starter, which I could have replaced myself. Although it would have been a pain and something probably would have gone wrong adding time and effort. And it's raining. Cost me more than twice as much money than if I did it myself. At least my insurance covered the cost of the tow.

They were really stacked up and saying it would probably be a couple of days. So my plan was to get a starter at a nearby auto store. Wait until the auto shop closed. And then try to install the starter while my car was in their lot. But I got lucky/unlucky and they were able to get to it today.

The remaining drawings and design specifications shall be completed within 8 hours.
I only slept for 9 hours in the past two days.

I find it quite annoying not being able to fix something when I know how to. The extra outlay of funds is just grand too. It's even worse when no new parts are needed (that one recently cost savings).

Can't go for hike today as the hot water system is getting fixed (nothing easy). I was looking forward to seeing the surprises, differences, that the heavy winds always bring. Someone here needs the warm water for a medical condition, as cold water causes an exacerbation of such.

I guess I'll go tomorrow.

I've already eaten 4 day's worth of beef that I bought today.

It's cold.
