Who here likes them then?

I don't mind them but their cheese and onion cannot hold a candle to the pride of Tandragee, Tayto Cheese and Onion. Mmm...

...some of their other crisps aren't bad though, and I definitely prefer them over Walkers.

So what's the verdict? :thumleft:

It's just that in the UK and Ireland you'll never get people refer to 'potato crisps'. It's always 'crisps', or in Ireland 'tayto' or something similar.

Seabrooks are OK, but Walkers are better (even though they are the big boys of crisps). I really like McCoys.
I'm a member of the Tyneside Irish Club (just around the corner from St James' Park, so very handy for cheap pre and post match drinks), and they have Tayto crisps, and I do really like them.

Ulster Tayto Cheese and Onion are so fine. And strong.

I love Seabrook's.

Used to eat them a lot when I was younger. Good northern crisps.

Thwy're alright and that but I still prefer Tayto.

Plus, my dad always goes on about "straight cut" Seabrooks but they haven't made those for years.

I love the Sea Salt and Vinegar Seabrooks. I'd eat them for packed lunch at school with corned beef sandwiches and a Vimto.

I don't think I've ever tried them or Taytos. I love a good bag of BBQ Kettle Chips though. :tongue:

I find "crisps" impossibly difficult to pronounce.

My dad, who is thicker than a six-foot-thick door, pronounces them "chris". He also pronounces the word mysterious as "materious", which is a totally different word.

Nope, I live in London. I would imagine there'd be somewhere here that'd sell 'smuggled' crisps from elsewhere, but I've yet to see them.

Seabrooks are very tasty. Much better than Walkers.

I'd never heard of Tayto before. Apparently I could order Tayto crisps online, but only in bags of 48!
