I apparently have some weird thing on my lip, like this flap that's too low and prevents my two front teeth from coming together. It's so random.
So I have to get it sliced out. Basically a slice out of my gums.. I HATE oral surgery! I'm going to be fully conscious and will taste everything. The worst part is not the pain, it's feeling the blade slice through your flesh and tasting the blood, and I will be able to feel both of those.

..you do know they'll give you local anesthetic, just not generalized, right?

Yes, I do know that.They don't give generalised. Only local. And I can feel everything but the pain. Which isn't the worst part for me.

I think I know what you're talking about. I had to get that removed a few years ago, after I got my braces off.

Prepare for an awful day. It will absolutely suck. A few hours after that surgery was the last time I ever took a pain reliever, and I really needed it.

It's so stupid! I don't even mind the little gap between my front teeth. In fact I like it. It looks better and I can squirt water through it. SO WHY.

Just try not to think about it too much. Perhaps try to distract yourself from the thoughts until the time comes upon you.

The only other things to think about are also depressing. And then when the time comes, it's going to be hell. At least it isn't my wisdom teeth again.

I had this done when I was in middle school or high school. I was against the surgery when I had to have it, but I guess since I was a minor it was my parents choice and not mine. I don't really remember the actual surgery all that well but I don't think it was all that bad or took too long... maybe 20-30 minutes? I still have a gap between my too front teeth though.... oh well!

He's getting sick, it seems. And turns out shipping him is going to cost a lot more than I expected. And the stupid relocation people are very slow to respond.
