What makes you literally sick?

I get Nausea and headaches and dizzy and confused and etc when I smell fish, and can usually smell it from 4 houses away. So I get stomach aches whenever someone cooks it in our neighborhood and I am out running, and we aren't allowed to cook it in our house.

Smoke also has a bad reaction, but not as bad as a reaction, usually just a headache.

Making the list of unhonorable mentions:
*Coffee
*Burnt
*Those facial-cleansers
*Potato soup
*Certain fragrances

What smells make you sick, and what are your reactions?

What about you? Bad smells and what are your reactions

Very very sensitive sniffer, I can smell if cooked potatoes were canned or fresh.

I can't stand any sweet berry like smell, always smells rotten to me.
Cabbage, especially cooked.
Yogurt....super yuck.

The smells I can't stand actually make me gag and possibly vomit if they are strong enough.

That old people smell used to bug me. The smell of a person throwing up used to get to me. Unclean bathrooms with that sweet or ammonia smell from unflushed or from a camping ground without running water.

Certain organic chemicals have a nauseating odor. Unchanged baby diapers can be bad.

Over-ripened fruit can have a sickeningly sweet odor to it.

All types of seafood, egg/tuna/salmon salad, sausages, and most kinds of stinky meat.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
