Toads are less permeable, but they do face the same problem. They're just better at retaining.
I agree, butts should be spiky. It would still make some positions difficult though.

Neither of them.... If I had a choice to choose fur, I would choose fur.
Toad is too slimey and I can't stand the feel of it after a while.
While having spikes would be vwey uncomfortable, it would probably drive me nuts after a while.
