I commute to school usually by bus.

It takes about thirty minutes because
I have to change buses at a bus stop
adjacent to a light rail platform.

There is a local transportation service aimed toward people with disabilities that takes me to and from school.

I drive my car to my parking lot at the edge of campus then walk (ie, I don't take the bus even on campus cause I don't know the routes unless I go with a friend who knows what bus to get on and stuff). In theory I could take the bus from my apartment, but I would have to change buses at the station downtown, and it would take like 30 minutes, where it only takes 10 minutes to drive myself.

My commute consists of biking from one end of campus to the other and takes about 10-15 minutes. If I have a problem with my bike (e.g. flat tire, broken chain), I may catch the bus, but it takes a lot longer. With a campus wide speed limit of 20 mph, it's easy to "race" (and beat) the buses on a bicycle

I do have a car, but I primarily use it for longer trips - driving to work would require buying a decal and spending a lot of time trying to find a parking space
