I notice that people never seem to look up. I am always looking up or down or all over the place, but it seems like the average individual does not look up. I did an experiment to see if maybe I was mistaken. When I used to have my apartment, I hung a key off an air vent in a prominent place in the living room. Out of the twenty or thirty something people that had been to my home, only one noticed the key.

Why dont people look up?

I took your advice and looked up.

I stared into the sun, and now I'm blind.

Thanks a lot, a**hole.

Oh, that's why.

Say, if I wrote a post asking why people dont hand me large sums of money, might you take that as advice as well? I could use the cash.

Because our world is essentially two dimensional. Long time since we've been swinging in trees all day.

I look up a lot, especially when I'm out.

I look up, last week I avoided being pooped on by a seagull.

I look up all the time. I like to look at the sky.

People don't seem to look down much either.

When I was a teenager, I had a job sweeping up popcorn off the floor of a movie theater. Sometimes I would notice a crowd of people walking over a $20 bill with nobody seeming to notice it. Naturally I was there to sweep it up in a hurry...

I'm forever looking everywhere but straight forward. This includes looking up. I didn't realize it was an odd thing to do.

Doesn't anyone care about the elaborate calculations involved in tracking a constantly changing seagull flight path parameter?

I look up all the time, probably to avoid meeting someone's eyes. There usually aren't people in the trees or on the ceiling glaring back at me.

If there are, they're ninjas...act like you didn't notice them.

If they were decent ninjas I wouldnt notice them. Spiderman often clings to the ceiling. Does that qualify him for ninja status?
