I might be in the hospital for a few days. I have a fever of 104.

Wow, Mick, I hope that fever goes down soon and you don't have to go into the hospital. But if that high fever doesn't go down and if you need to go into the hospital, it's best you do so that you get the medical care you'll need to recover. I'm sorry you're feeling so ill. Get Well Soon.

I'm back. I'm going to rest over the next few days though. It was a false alarm and my mum's not too happy with me because she's the one who took me to the hospital. Oh well, that's life.

Hello CockneyRebel,

A false alarm is better than a real one (in my opinion).
Even if it disturbed her for a day, a day is better than a whole week, for instance - if you had had to stay in the hospital.

Are you at your parents home to rest now?

And I hope that you feel better soon too.

Well I feel better knowing that you went to the hospital to get check out rather than not knowing what was causing you to be so ill with a high fever. Take care of yourself, rest is good Mick.

I'm also glad that I got it checked out. It turns out that my immune system is working to fight off the bladder infection.

Ooo... that can be dangerous if it's not taken care of. A few years back, this beautiful Brazilian model had gotten a bladder infection and it ended up turning into septis and spread throughout her body. Sadly, she died from it. I don't think your Mum should get upset with you because she took you to the hospital. These things happen and need to be checked out.

8O that's nearly a lethal temperature. If you haven't taken fever reducers already it would probably be good to do so if you can. I hope you recover soon, that's rather scary.
