This is the greatness of an inflected language. The verb includes the information as to whether the subject is singular or plural, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person, whether the action has or may happen or continue to happen in the past, present, or future. Even cooler are the nouns which indicate their precise part of speech, but for now let's consider a single verb, audire, which means "to hear":
