I passed it first time earlier with 6 minor faults. Took a year's worth of lessons though. I'm very pleased.

I'm especially pleased as driving was not something I found easy at all for a long time and I do not ordinarily perform well under scrutiny.

Congrats!

I shudder to think what petrol costs in the UK now though.

Also, now I have that catchy Toy Dolls song stuck in my head:

Come on everybody sing -
Modern School of Motoring,
the best place to go if you want to crash,
you will never pass your test,
they say you will but it's a jest,
Modern School just wants your cash...

Congratulations! I remember having to parallel park in order to pass that test, I hated doing it with a passion.

Congratulations Rabbi Tears!

I barely passed my first one even though I'm a good driver--just got nervous.

I actually got a waiver from my instructor so I didn't have to take an "official" test. Because he was the soccer coach and I played soccer. :D
