Well, Google search turned up your post and not much else, so I'm guessing it's not word-for-word taken from anything. Is it a quote that you yourself have come up with?

When I read the quote, I keep thinking of the Lord of the Rings. It sounds like something that Gandalf would say! So to me it equates to a sort of riddle. One of those wise saying that sound good as you read them, but only make sense after a certain amount of reflection. What this quote specifically is referring to, though, I do not know.

Im pretty sure its about the connection between people, which comes and goes and changes in all possible ways.

It can also be about our emotions and the relations we have to our surroundings and to ourselves.

it represents the circle of life and how we all die and get reborn. the doll hairs thing was a joke like "doll ars" as in money it is said sometimes to trick ppl and was an old joke
