Look What i Made!

i made this flag last week. im not a brilliant sewer or had much practise but i really enjoyed making this - and im making an entire uncle sam costume which ill keep you updated on!

it is an American Flag in the style of Betsy Ross - which 13 strs in a circle and 13 stripes.
i made it using crushed velvet material it is light and it will fly easily. its measurement is 40 CM by 55 CM i guessed when cutting the material. i used no rulers for it.
it took me 7 hours to comlete the flag from start to finish 1 hour on monday night 6 hours on tuesday

im very proud of it

hers one of it standing up on its pole all draping downward with another American Flag hanging behind it

and one of me holding it in my hand with another flag on a pole holding that aswell i really like this picture

so there you have it - my beautiful flag.

I really question what else you do in your spare time... as I do on my own, I've spent the past 32 hours of my spare time on Wrong Planet! I'm from New Zealand, so I can't exactly connect with the importance of the flag. Good job, though!

In NZ, everyone's always bickering over whether we should change our flag or not...

raph522, that was done by hand, i sat here and watched her make it in yahoo. that flag looks great drummer!! !
