I'm not sure I'll be able to communicate what my fear is but I'll give it a shot.

I keep imagining that the whole house goes bang like something explodes or the house falls off the foundation.

It's weird and I know there's next to no chance this will ever happen but I can't shake the notion.

Also, I have to say that home ownership - not as cracked up as seems. You worry about stuff; what to do with your garbage, plowing/shoveling, oil, repairs and maintenance, yard care...When I was renting, we had people do that stuff for you. Now it's all up to us.

I'm always afraid that my parents will kick me out tomorrow, even though I have no reason to believe they will. Doesn't sound like much, but it f*cking terrifies me.

I fear that my boss will lose his contract with Wal-Mart and all the part timers will all be out of the job. That's my biggest fear right now. It probably won't happen, but I have fears that it will.
