Since my sister got married, she's grown up quite a bit. She's more accepting of my differences and we seem to be getting along with each other more than we used to. Since that change has taken place, I feel more inclined to be a part of the family. I also like my Sister's sense of humour. She's always in a good mood, no matter what her day was like. She also knows the right gifts to give me, for Christmas. I might be inviting my sister to come to my Apartment to watch movies anytime, once I move out. I'm also enthrawled with how a short, sturdy "Cockney" like me has been graced with a tall slender beauty for a sister, whi happens to be a "Real Canadian".

Me and my sis, who's 13 years old (don't worry, I'm 16), get along suprisingly well considering what else could happen. We have a great time, and she treats my room like a second house, popping in whenever she's bored or got nothing to do. Just yesterday we had the best tickle fight we'd had in a while.

My brother just moved out of the house to attend community college. When we were kids we didn't get along at all. Part of it was my fault because I wasn't very nice to him (I said he wasn't my real brother for a time). We also were never very similar (he is very outgoing and has lots of friends). Additionally, unlike me he got in trouble alot because of conduct (not, for example, attendance problems) at school.

However in the last five years or so, even though we rarely talk, the relationship between my brother and I has gotten better. I say this even though it is difficult because he demonstrates more emotional maturity then me on many occassions. While this fact is difficult for me, it also is a fact that he provides a "rock" sometimes when I get overly obsessive and upset. I am also happy because for a time I was worried that he wouldn't be able to move on in life, but it seems evident that he is capable. Returning to his relations with me: He doesn't (often) get furious and mad when I behave in a manner that would naturally cause people to become embarrassed (and this is before I was diagnosed with Asperger's). He has also tried to talk with me about things I am interested in, something that I have tried to return in my approaches to him.

Just when I am sure they either don't like me or else just don't care, they do something unexpectedly nice to make me feel guilty.

I have one brother, he is about 3 years older than me (21).

When we were younger, we used to play all of the time. We even created a whole imaginary universe together.

When we grew up, and I started to suffer from serious mental health problems, we drifted apart.

Things between us have improved a lot recently, but we ignore each other most of the time. I think the trouble is that we know each other a bit too well.
