Thumb sucking

Now and then I see people sucking their thumb, such as when I was in a work meeting this afternoon and a colleague was sucking her thumb inside a pulled-out sleeve for at least half the meeting. Some people seem to think it's childish or something, but I accept it happens as a very common thing well into adulthood, or throughout adulthood.

It struck me that I don't think I've ever seen Aspies sucking their thumb, including myself. Maybe it's a very NT thing to do with human connection or something?

I sucked my thumb for the longest time... but I eventually grew out of it. I guess I was tired of my thumb nail stabbing the roof of my mouth. xD
