If faces start to blur from twenty feet away, does that mean I need glasses?

You may have trouble finding an answer here, since most of us never look people in the face. :P

Well, here's my non-snarky answer: 20 feet isn't a great distance, so you don't exactly have 20/20 vision if objects are blurring. As for whether you need glasses, just ask yourself how much of a hindrance it is. If it doesn't bother you or impede your ability to do things like reading or driving, then you probably don't need glasses.

Thank you. Actually, I generally don't look people in the face either, until I realized my eyesight was changing.

Always good to get it checked just to make sure its just bad eye sight and not indicative of something more serious. After all, you don't have to get glasses even if the eye sight test comes back less than 20/20. Always better to know, then not know.

You might be a little bit near sighted, might should get your eye's checked.

My eyesight is screwed up. One eye is near sighted, and the other one is far sighted. I also have astigmatism. Supposedly, my eyes are in perfect health though.

I'll stand twenty feet from the screen and hold up so many fingers and you tell me what you see. :?

I would guess you do need corrective lenses.
