Yeah my sister family that moved back to Texas in Aug. All got sick and now I am.
I had a mild headache when I took my dogs for a 10 mile walk. When I got back I
was having cold chills. I could not get warm so I turned off the AC it was in the 70's in
my room and dressed warmed. I then had a high fever burning up (it was 80 in the room). Massive headache little sleep sweating feeling hot. Now my thorat is starting to hurt. Needless to say I am debating if I should walk the dogs they are barking some but its not got extreme yet. Barking/crying dogs is a real weakness of mine I simply break
down.

Sounds pretty yucky machine1

"Krex hands Machine1 warm bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup, crackers, kleenex, wastebasket for puking, large Sprite with bendable straw,Vicks vapor rub,CD player with some classic Bob Dylan and a book called...Swan Song, and tip-toes out, closing the door behind...then takes a deep breath and proceeds to wash with anti-virus soap"

Do you think its something you picked up on the Island whilst making soap?Hope you feel better soon.

I gave my biggest dog a can of dog food mixed with l-tyrptophan(a natural amino acid that calms you down) few slices of bread to encourage him to sleep at night. He likes to sleep in the day and bark all night if he is not given a long walk. He is being rather nice
now.

Yeah I feel congestion in my lungs starting plus a cough every ounce in a while.
I cleaned up a face steamer I got you put your face on. So I plan to use steam if I get
any worse.

Oh I made some homemade potatoe soup ate one bowel but my appitte was low. So a few hours later I said "I will reheat the soup again and eat more" I left the burner on from the first bowel! So it cooked down and burned on the bottem. I mixed dog food with it and feed it to the other dog.

I think you should call your doctor or nurse.

Yeah it could be more serious than I think. Seems like flu but it could not be flu this earily and my sister family was better in a week. I went to the CDC website for flu reports but they want start till next week. I feel okay now but I can not sleep. Most what I read on the net is wait x number of days then goto a Dr if you do not get better.

I'm taking Aleve every 8 hours or so. I hoping if I fall asleep wake up in 16 hours (ha ha)
I will feel much better.

This is all probably due to moving. Something similar happened to the Aztecs when the Spanish arrived. Except they died. Poor souls.

You shouldn't wait if you have significant fever.

I do not have a body thermometer so i can not check my temp. But I am much cooler
now so i think the high fever part has past. If I ever get to sleep I will decide thursday
afternoon what I will do next. I pretty much have to do that anyway.

I'm fighting two infections right now. One is my undying love for TheMachine1, and the other is chlamydia.
