I just realized something I had wanted to try to do was NOT as easy as I thought it might be.

So I was wondering if anyone had any similar ideas? Experiments gone wrong?

Mine?

When I was younger: riding on the open walled up escalator at the mall sitting on the railing.
(turned out ok safety-wise, but still really dumb)

Today: Roller-blading on the treadmill. Not so easy, especially on max incline/ FAST

When I was 14 or 15 I built a trapeze in my backyard, it worked great for about a month until a rope broke sending me into the back of the house hitting near the second floor level. Up until that point I was still un-injured. Landing on a bicycle and a picinic table was when the blood started flowing from my eyebrow.

It took another 20yrs until I got the exact matching cut above the other eyebrow. Skating around and practicing puck handling before a game I tripped myself< embarassing I know ! !

I just saw myself falling and catching my fingers in the escalator.

I've tried having an all nighter on WP at the beginning of last summer. It wasn't as easy as I thought, because I was extremely tired for the rest of the week.

Cutting an overgrown cypress hedge from a not long enough ladder with a manual saw.

Nightmare. Gave up after the first tree. Ladder still there about 12 months on.

Trying to sledge down the stairs wrapped up in a duvet =/

Caught the first stept with my feet and went flying down head first! Think I also pulled off a 360 roll on my way down!

Not the best idea as a kid =]

When trying an unfamiliar task I always have a moment of panic when I think, "Uh, oh, I'm not going to be able to do/finish this," but if I press on I usually can bring it to at least a half-dignified conclusion. And if I can't, I hide the evidence.

Snowboarding down a slushy hill without knowing its a lot different than packed snow. I remember heading down the hill and hitting a rut. When I was getting up my arm was messed up. I was able to drive home but it took weeks of slowly moving my arm until I could make circles with it.

Training Jack, the most hard-headed dog I've ever met.

Dear Sparx, can I make a guess about Jack, the dog? Was he either a Jack Russell, or a Pug? They are both supposed to be pretty determined to have things their way! Sylkat

Arm wrestling, took a weak for my arm to stop hurting. I didn't win

Writing two completely different words with both hands at the same time.

...not so easy.
