Am am not a terribly religious person; I am more philosophical than religious. So I just thought it would be a nice idea to clarify my philosophical views on all things relating the meaning of life, the universe on this webpage. I was keeping it all to myself for a while, but then I thought, why not?
After all if I was a religious person albeit a practicing Buddhist, Catholic or Jew etc everyone would have a fair indication of what my beliefs are but since I am none of the above I could believe in anything they are concerned. I do not in anyway do this web page as a means to proselytize or convert people, but I would like the put in black in white what my personal beliefs are for all to read.

Wow you've put a lot of work into that, great stuff. I've only had a chance to look at the bits about Time. I couldn't agree more and I love that example of time as a landscape rather than a line.

- re death - I had philosophies about death until Mom died - it blew me right out of the water and I was devastated for a year and wobbly for another year - don't underestimate death, not somebody else's, anyway.

I said pwn, not own. And Sephiroth comes back. And his mother also couldn't die, but she could be imprisoned within the planet, so Naraku could also be imprisoned in a place that he couldn't escape from.

Sephiroth doesn't have anything called a sacred jewel, but he does have a lot of mastered materia. He has multiple versions of a spell called Barrier, and some of them are very powerful. And he'll always come back.

Naraku is never imprisoned and naraku alway's comes back too.

So i guess we're even?

Re time and the image of a camera 50 light years away - wouldn't it take 50 light years for the image to return to the camera/viewer? ergo it would have only pics of the 'past' just as we have pics of the 'past' of the stars? But that doesn't make it simultaneous.

Re the World Line - is it a line? or is it a sort of branching tree line, where one point branches to 13 probabilities, each branching to 13 more probabilities ... ?

Universe expanding like raisin bread cooking in the oven

From what I read so far, the galaxies are more analogous to raisin currants trapped inside a lump of rapidly expanding raisin bread dough (space). (Exponentially expanding dough when during the youngest phases of the universe) The individual raisins really cannot move far inside the dough, because in spite of the distance between each individual rainsin is ever increasing, the raisins are moving with the dough and not through it. As the observer in any one of the galaxies will be will be observing all the other distant galaxies being red shifted and that is evidence they are accelerating away from each other, Any observer on anyone in those galaxies will get the illusion that all those red shifted galaxies are moving though space away from each other as the rapidly move through space like an exploding supernova. But that is largely due to expanding space between the galaxies and those galaxies on the very largest scales are moving with space and not through it.
