Good Ole New Orleans Coffee Mmmmm

I haven't had any of this in a while.

I bought the Creole kind of coffee for this morning. It's coffee with chicory in it. It's stronger and kind of bitter. I usually drink mine black but to make this kind, the way my Aunt Louise made it, I made a pot of it and turned off the eye under it. Then I put some milk in a pan and turned it almost up to boil. While that was getting ready to boil I filled a cup half full of the cool coffee then I poured it full with the boiling milk.

Some people like theirs sweet and put sugar in, but I do not.

I haven't had this in a while, and it's goooooood.
