Like the only place you can't see what other people are doing is of course behind you. Sort of a dead-corner freak-out reaction? Like what If they stab you for example and you didn't see them coming? Crazy stuff, at least for me... especially if you're walking in the city, I sort of wished I had eyes on my back.

I tend to throw my feces at people who surprise me, so yes. I am an ape though, got beef?

I get genuinely angry when people I'm with walk behind me for even a minute. I can't stand it! But they act like since I walk quickly (with purpose, I call it) that I should be the one leading them everywhere. Whenever it happens I instinctively turn around and wait for them to catch up or get ahead of me, and I absolutely loathe having people watching over my shoulder as I read, or type. Murderous rage face.

Mostly I was thinking of my current avatar pic :P I digress

I don't like when people walk close behind me either. I find it unnerving. Especially if I have headphones on and I'm wearing a bag, I get paranoid they're stealing from me while my back is turned

I did that once, then I was offered a place in the Big Brother house.

That's lucky, normally I am not allowed cigarettes or bananas for a few weeks

Taking away cigarettes from a smoker as punishment for bad behaviour? Those people haven't thought that one through >.>

Only when they're watching what I'm doing like I'm a toddler.

I've spent every day walking home learning how to watch everyone else and not be noticed watching them, peripheral vision and all that. Besides making me feel more secure, it can be fun as hell to sneak up on people!

It doesn't bother me. The chances of my getting stabbed in the back are very small in the town that I live in.

If I'm in the city at night, in a bad area, I simply stay much more aware of others than I normally am, and act accordingly when I feel threatened. If someone is behind me on the street and I'm suspicious of them, I'll go into a store, cross the street, take out my cell phone, etc.

I often walk at superhuman speed and use a stiff arm to plow through the crowd. But if I am walking at a normal speed I think I worry that my fly might be down or something when I see people in cars or across the street looking at me directly.

I really don't like when people stand right close behind me, even if they are just watching what I'm doing. In certain circumstances I could feel alright (e.g. taking a test), but during an ordinary day it drives me up the wall. I feel almost invaded, or just agitated. Sometimes I think it's partially because I want to be alone and not worrying/thinking about the other person behind me while doing a task. I also hate it when people try to micromanage me, and I get the same feeling when people are watching me.

I just turn my head down and a little to the side, so I can see behind me with an eye.

I'm pretty much always back against the wall if I'm out though, so it rarely happens.
