Yesterday, on my way home from work, it was raining very heavily. So heavily, in fact, that I couldn't tell whether I was in Houston or Venice while I was driving. At a busy intersection, my car stalled and some passersby had to push my car to a slightly higher stretch of ground. When I got out of my car, the water was up to my knees, and the water in my car was only a inch below my seats.
Two hours had passed between the time I left work and the time my uncle picked me up in his van. It normally takes 30 minutes to get home.
Claims adjusters are currently assessing my car to determine how much insurance will cover--it will cover the wrecker car and a rental. The damage appears to be very minor, though.
