In this thread, share you tales of things that ended up disappointing you.
------
June 12, 2013. It's just two days after I finish up all my college work to graduate, and as a grad gift to myself, I buy myself two Seattle Mariners tickets (the other ticket is for my 'brother', Danny). It was the pre-Father's Day game, so I get myself a free travel mug to give to my dad later. It's pleasant out in Seattle, and it's the debut of Mike Zunino, the catcher for that game. The game is a real pitcher's duel, with nobody scoring for the first eight innings, when the M's put up a run to make it 1-0. I'm happy and pleased, and hoping the Mariners will win a slow game. But then, something happens. To give you an idea firstly of how disappointed I was, let me tell you that the Houston Astros are in fifth and last place in the AL West. The Astros started putting up one run. Then two. Three. Four. Five. And finally, six. Needless to say, I am the most infuriated I had ever been in a while. How could the M's give up that many runs to a last-place team like the Astros? As that meme goes, ALIENS! I leave the stadium after the sixth run was scored with Danny, and we end up not missing much, as halfway out of the stadium and into the bus tunnels heading to Danny's home, the Mariners end the game and lose it 6-1. It really left a bad taste in my mouth because of the fact that we lost to a weaker team. But alas, I did get my dad a nice Father's Day gift, so it wasn't a total loss!
