I saw the second one. I felt too young to see the first one when it came out, even though I kind of wanted to. :)

Garth has been my hero ever since.
From him I learnt that it is totally ok not to hug people or shake hands, even though they would look weird at you. I think I'm going to watch Wayne's world later today again :D

I don't mean to be politically incorrect here, but I just happened to stumble first on that version of the scene. It's way funnier in German I think. I have a Dutch version of the Sponge Bog theme song. Hilarious as hell.
