Look at special interests.

Where's the section for us Aspie roleplayers?
(Two that cross-over.)

They exist, trust me, I am one.

what exactly would the function of a roleplay section be? to talk about roleplaying or to roleplay or both? If you want to talk about roleplaying, you can talk about it in the game section. if you want to roleplay, then i might have to plan another section for it.

Hmmn roleplaying games I love...

You could also be talking about sexual roleplay, which would fit into the adult section :)

Both. Mostly to actually roleplay though.

Would anyone be up for a Star Trek RP? I might make a thread.

Gladly! However, I cannot keep canon in character for the life of me so....

As long as we can have a "Doctor Who" or "Red Dwarf" crossover....

If that was the case, I'd vote for Red Dwarf.

Or we could go back to the good old days (or so I've heard) of the Starship Spectrum... from what I understand, it had a Star Trek-like way of role-playing. Unfortunately, I never got to join. :(

Alright, since one has trouble keeping canon, and the other never got to join in on STRP, Tomorrow I can start sorting out a generic Sci-Fi storyline.

* Will be based upon Star Trek. Players can use canon characters, or make their own.

* Feel free to bring in other elements from other Sci-Fi stories/movies.

* The more Trek-oriented players will be on a Starship. How about... USS Chivalry

NOTE: No specific timeline is given. Assume it is in an alternate universe, if that helps with perception.

Is it okay if I play a Vulcan character I'm in the process of making up?

Now all I have to do is a little bit more research and come up with a name. Since I'm thinking my character (half-Vulcan, half-human) grew up on Earth, she would probably have an Earth name that she could go by instead of me trying to come up with a Vulcan name...

I can play a mean sock puppet character. I've had practice.

Well, I'm bringin' in a character from the RPs I did on the Darwin Awards forum. My name, and is like a mix of Doctor Who, and Dante from "Devil May Cry"...

A time-travelling immortal, with a mean sword, and a weird sense of humour....

Good idea. Original Vulcan names can be difficult. Earth names, however... they are all around us.
