Blimey, I owned a video cassette with the original journey on it. I used to rewind and play it back so much when I was little. I had forgotten all about it. I hadn't seen the the modern film the unit made either. Thanks.
Speaking of travelling the route, rode it when I was visiting a friend a few weeks ago. Bloody awful ex-Gatwick Express Class 442s. With regard to comfort, it was like riding in the old slam-door stock.

That was a very fun video to watch. I love trains and I like the side to side videos. It's fun to be able to do comparisons like this. Thank you for sharing the video.
