WOW!! !! This is in Connecticut. At first, I felt spoiled by the Native American Museum in Washington, D.C. because it was more far reaching and didn't focus on any particular group. I kind of thought the Pequot Museum was a bit small and boring (sorry for any offense) BUT after going through a huge walk-through diorama of a Pequot village, I was HOOKED!!
I couldn't get enough of their story from the 1600's up until now. It was a heartfelt experience !
They showed a movie of the ALMOST destruction of a people. It made me cry. I ended up enthrolled by this place. A MUST VISIT!! !! Spread this around to anyone who may be interested!! !
