On the internet I once found out who this one user is, I found out his real name, where he really lived (not home address), his wife's name and his kids, and what he does as his job, etc. all because he posted a video and he has his real name in the description so I looked it up and the name he posted under to see where else he posted the video. I was even linked to articles thanks to google. I could even get his phone number if I wanted to but I never even tried because I am not a creep and I have no desire to call him.

Has anyone else ever found out who someone online really is and their personal life and other details they never shared on the forum?

I must also say people here that add me to their Facebook, I sure know their names now but they could be alias names too and people do use fake names on Facebook and it would depend on how much information they put in there such as location or job.

Yes. Many times - although it usually involved some slip-up by the other person in one of their blogs or posts.

I found out that Fnord is actually a 12-year-old lesbian.

Don't confront "him" about it, though. He'll just deny it.

My investigations lead me to the conclusion that most of the PPR is just three or four users

I'd like you to correct your spelling.

That's immediately what I thought of when I saw your previous post. I watch too much Spongebob.
