I've posted something like this in the kids crater forum, as my son refuses to write a Christmas list out for me (has never done it and probably never will) so I needed ideas on presents for him.

So I figured that I need help with presents for friends/family as well!! !!

I will start by adding my own:

Sunglasses (a GOOD pair)
Car vacuum cleaner (one of those dustbusters)
George Foreman Grill (to take to work with me at night instead of using their disgusting electric frypan)
New cossie/swimmers
Anything involving DIAMONDS (and I don't mean a deck of cards either!)

Hope you all can give me lots of suggestions!!

Jus

A Routemaster
A Hub, so I can go on the Internet, anywhere.
Willpower to eat healthy, each and every day and not just five days a week
32 years of acceptance that I've craved from the time I was born, until the day I've moved out

* Axe/Tag body spray, Schick razors -- Walgreens has them. I work there!

For Xmas I want (and will likely get, since I tell my mother a nonsurprise gift or gifts I want and then she gets me little surprises to go along with it):

*a cd player (yeah, I know, behind the times; but I've got CDs I can't replace and don't relish iPods and hate always having to turn on the tv and put in a cd into the DVD player just to play something)
*the book Extraordinary People by Dr. Darold Treffert
*Tony Attwood's new book.

And I'm also hoping my mother will get me this little Potbelly (they're a type of figurine) of Shakespeare. I have Poe and Einstein so far.

originally posted this in the thread you made in the Kid's Forum (sorry, didn't see that)

Dear Santa

I would like a 2006 Aston-Martin DB7 for my wife, and a 2006 Ferrari F430 for myself, please.
I would also greatly appreciate you somehow expediting my immigration paperwork so that I can get a job and let my wife quit her "job" for a while.
Everything else, we can manage ourselves.

Thanks,

diseased

PS. About those elves that were giving you problems earlier this month... that's been resolved. You won't hear the word 'union' for a long time.

PPS. If you happen to be feeling particularly generous, I'd love to have any of the following:

a secret under/aboveground 'batcave' further up the island some
a Patria AMV 8x8 armored fighting vehicle
a couple of telepresence/a-v/vr drones and monitoring station
a custom scythe for the backyard from this company I found the other day on google
Jeeves & Wooster on DVD
a C-130
...bout all I can think of offhand

A job that I will actually like

...thanks to those who have kept their requests realistic.... LOL!! !!

My "unrealistic" wishes would be:

Trip to the USA - my greatest dream is to drive from LA to NY - will get there one day again!!
A Winnebago - for comfort travel across Australia (another dream of mine)
A new home in a beach/seaside location
and most importantly - my son not to have any more hassles from school - EVER AGAIN!! !

It's great so many of you have responded - I hope all of your wishes come true :D

May not be 18, and I don't say this present in a literal sense but "A True Friend."

An oven that works, so I won't have to go to the Clubhouse for lunch and have soup for dinner.
