Queen Isabel I of Castile. She drove the Moors out of Spain, and conquered the city of Granada. She was a warrior queen. Her youngest daughter was Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII's first wife. Another of her daughters was Juana the Mad, who was the mother of Charles I of Spain. And, of course, as everyone knows she funded Columbus's expedition.
