There's a reason I don't like to read out loud. I can't catch up fast enough. The latest example: A Tweet I just read on Twitter said, "Watching @MyLittlePony on Netflix. Good thing I can pretend I only watch because my daughter likes the show." I originally read it with the focus on "pretend I only watch". I couldn't make sense of it at first. It sounded like it meant there was something else going on besides watching, but the pretense was of watching only, not doing whatever else it was, too. Even now that I get it, I still have a tendency to understand it wrong every time I read it again.

I actually got a chuckle out of that, once I realized my mistake. Anybody else want to post their goofs?

I don't mean to sound dense, but I think I'm missing something here. Please clarify... Thanks!
