I want this song played at my funeral.

For me it reminds me of closure, everything in my life coming to a fitting end and nothing left undone. Beautiful.

I want this song played at my funeral:

I've always identified with it, using my own interpretation of the lyrics.

Suppose a better title for this topic would be what song would you want played at your funeral. I must make changes!

"The Call", Regina Spektor and "The Door in the Air" Harry Gregson-Williams.
Both are from the Chronicles of Narnia.
When my boyfriend died in 1998, he had a prepared soundtrack, they played it at the church before his burial and it was a good connection for everyone; one last very sad, wave, goodbye.

'So Long' by The Kinks. I want to be remembered for who I really was when I die. I'm a Kinks Fan and that's the truest form that anybody will ever see me in.

I have two that I want played.

The first is this one. My Way, by Frank Sinatra.
I want it as the communion song.

Here's the second one I want played. I want this one played at the beginning of the service.

That way, I can get one last laugh out of them.

Neat! Seems good to go out on, little bit sad, but makes it seem like life will go on.

at this point in my life not enough people care about me to attend my funeral so i probably wouldn't have one. would just be cremated most likely and have my ashes put in with my mom's when she is gone as well.

I'm not excatly sure. Something I like, that aslo says me, but is not too happy sounding, since dying is a sad event...
